AUGUST 2001

  • Aug 28, 2001 - If you are interested in seeing the Jedi Apprentice series with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan continue, a fan has created a website with petitions and addresses of people to contact. Go to http://www.nsio.net/saveja to let your opinion be known.

  • Aug 27, 2001 - The official Star Wars website is reporting on Jedi Apprentice #15: The Death of Hope along with some great images of the cover. Go here to read the article.

  • Aug 21, 2001 - Sad news: TheForce.net is reporting that the Jedi Apprentice series will end with #18, to be replaced with another series -- most likely featuring Obi-Wan and Anakin. Read the article here.

  • Aug 9, 2001 - Jedi Quest: Path to Truth has already begun appearing in stores. Look for our review soon.

  • Aug 7, 2001 - The Scholastic website has posted an excerpt from Jedi Quest: Path to Truth, due in September. It is set between Episode I and Episode II and tells the story of a 13-year-old Anakin making his lightsaber. Read the excerpt here.

JULY 2001

  • July 6, 2001 - Books-a-Million is reporting the title for Jedi Apprentice #16 is The Call to Vengeance, and it's available for preorder there. So far no word on Amazon or BN about this one.

  • July 6, 2001 - We've added a lot more items to our Interviews & Articles section, including a new interview with Jude Watson and some interesting tidbits from Star Wars Insider #54. Go below to check it out!

  • July 6, 2001 - Great news! As part of that Star Wars Insider #54 article mentioned in the item above, we were told that the Jedi Apprentice series will continue at least until the opening of Episode II. Hurrah!
